I live in Maryland but booked this restaurant for my mom’s birthday dinner with my three sisters. They advised me they had an amazing time because the service was impeccable, and the staff, especially their server Douglas , provided professional and friendly service that left my mom beaming!
Now, the food. My mouth watered looking at the menu, but to hear how delicious the food was, I will plan a trip to Connecticut just to partake in the culinary delights offered at Giovannis.
I want to extend a personal thanks to Douglas for being amazing at what he does and to everyone who took time to ensure mom’s celebratory dinner went well!

This past weekend I had my daughter’s bridal shower at Giovanni’s. From booking through the end of the party, it was a seamless experience. The food, service and atmosphere was over the top. Special shoutout to the event planner Natalie. She was very attentive every step of the way to make the day perfect. Wouldn’t have pulled it together without her expertise. Thank you for making my daughter’s bridal shower a day to remember.

We attended an event here and the ambiance and food did not disappoint. We were super impressed with thedelicious food and the attention from the staff. We definitely recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a party.

If you are looking for exquisite food and service, look no further. Sal will greet you at the door and make sure you have the best dining experience in your life. There are not enough stars to give them five isn’t enough.

I came here for a wedding reception and the staff here was extremely courteous and attentive. They would check up on the room frequently to make sure everyone was tended to. The food was cooked so well from the Salmon to the Steak, everything was delicious! The venue also has a ton of sanitation stations so you can wipe off anytime you feel the need to. The valet parking was a plus, personally I don’t like having someone drive my car but if the place is super busy and there isn’t much parking then it’s a necessary evil. All in all a very enjoyable time here!

Great place for my daughter Sweet 16 party, she enjoy a lot , they gave me all the facilities, love it! if you are looking a place for you next event Giovannis is a great option 👍

I ate at the restaurant for a funeral lunch. The food and service were excellent and the facility was very nice.

If your in the Darien/Stamford area The Waters Edge at Giovanni’s is a must go! The owners of this place are extremely sweet, caring and humble.. really take true authentic care of this restaurant. Steakhouse and seafood eatery at your finest. You can hold events here! They have plenty of space. One of my favorites here is the seafood tower! For all my seafood lovers at a reasonable price! (Photo is below). Take a visit you and your family! Totally worth it.
